I’m still unemployed, but apparently my mortgage didn’t get laid off.
Long-term unemployment has a lot of us corporate survivors paying the bills and hoping nothing else needs money.

We worked our asses off. We built lives. Now we’re in this weird middle where we’re not destitute, but a limping dog can ruin the entire afternoon before we even know what’s wrong.
