Hitman Candidate: Josh Johnson Talks to NJ Councilman & Ex-Mob Enforcer John Alite | The Daily Show

The great thing about America is anyone can run for office, and no one exemplifies that more than John Alite, a former mob enforcer turned New Jersey councilman. After doing time for "every crime you could think about," Alite turned his back on his hitman days and became a public servant in Englishtown, NJ. Josh Johnson had a sit-down with Alite to see how his extensive resume of bad deeds puts him in a unique position to do some good for his fellow New Jerseyans, and to find out whether this goodfella's redemption story is too good to be true. #DailyShow #NewJersey #Mob #JohnAlite
