In this ‘how to write a letter in word’ tutorial I will show you how to align the address and date, format a title and content, place a signature block and add headers and footers. All these tools will allow you to confidently write and print a letter or a simple word document.

When I first started using Microsoft Office one of the first things I needed to do was write a letter in word. As basic as it may sound, I couldn’t get the address block aligned correctly and figure out how to get the cursor back to the left hand side.
